Visually Impaired Users – How To Help Them
People with visual difficulties:
- May be colour blind.
- May be completely blind or partially sighted.
- May suffer from disabilities preventing them from reading or comprehending text properly (for example dyslexia).
- May not be able to read small text – a large segment of the population could be affected.
All of these are issues that we as Web designers must face if we are determined to reach all of the possible users of the web.
NB. Due to the nature of this site and the ability for the visually impaired to actually view pictures I have declined to add any to this blog.
